This workshop has been organized by USEA in collaboration with UNEP, under the auspices of the African Geothermal Centre of Exellence (AGCE). In this workshop, innovations will be discussed which allow geothermal resource to have a greater benefit, on both the grid and as an engine of Local Economic Growth in East Africa. Since there is no one “best” strategy, the workshop’s structure and goal is for participants to start developing strategies tailored to their particular resources, needs, and opportunities.
