The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency are pleased to invite you to participate in the workshop “Development of Renewable Energy Technology Prizes – Stakeholder Workshops” to discuss the prize on Lithium production on geothermal plants in Europe, which will take place in Brussels and online on 27th February 2024, 09:00 – 12:00 CET.
As a part of a study commissioned by CINEA, Ecorys, Carbon Counts and WIP have been working since February 2023 to gather lessons learned on past Horizon prizes, elaborate a list of potential prizes and select potential prizes to develop into full-fledged designs. These workshops conclude the final phase of the study and aim at testing and validating each final design of the five following prizes:
- Prize on Lithium production from geothermal plants in Europe (held on 27th February, 09:00 – 12:00 CET)
- Prize on RET Solutions in Energy Communities (held on 27th February, 14:00 – 17:00 CET)
- Fuel from the Sun Prize: further Advancing Artificial Photosynthesis for renewable fuel (held on 28th February, 09:00 – 12:00 CET)
- Prize on Seasonal Thermal Energy Storage (held on 28th February, 14:00 – 17:00 CET)
- Prize on Advanced digital solution to improve the maintenance processes of Renewable Energy Technologies (held on 29th February, 09:00 – 12:00 CET)
During the workshops, you will be introduced to each innovation prize the Study team is currently designing to be potentially included in future EU Research programmes such as Horizon Europe.
