2030 Targets

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen committed to increasing the EU’s climate target from 40% by 2030 to either 50% or 55% by 2030. To achieve these higher targets the contribution from the Renewable Energy Directive and Energy Efficiency Directives will need to increase dramatically.
