EGEC organised a matchmaking session to help members get ready for the upcoming EU funding opportunities.

  • European Green Deal Calls H2020 – key opportunities for geothermal project proposals, Reghina Dimitrisina (EGEC policy officer)
  • Updates on the Modernisation and Innovation Funds, Thomas Garabetian (EGEC Senior Policy Officer)
  • Sustainable Finance and EU Renewable Energy Financing Mechanism – What’s their roles for geothermal industry, Thomas Garabetian (EGEC Senior Policy Officer)

B2B session to find potential project partners for applications

11h00 – 12h00

In this session, you can pitch your ideas for project proposals. This is a chance to find your partners and prepare your proposals for EU funding.

It is a timely opportunity as, for example, the Innovation Fund will launch its call for small-scale projects on 1st December 2020. Projects with total capital costs below EUR 7.5 million can benefit from simplified one-stage application and selection procedures. The H2020 GD calls have a deadline on 26/01/2021

Please prepare your pitch presentations (3-5 slides max; 5-7 mins speaking time). Be aware that we will share your contact details with the other participants (EGEC and ETIP DG members) to help with the creation of consortia.
