EGEC Response to the public consultation on the review of EU Energy Efficiency Directive (EED)

EGEC welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the consultation process on the revision of the Energy Efficiency Directive.

The targets need to be reviewed upward to at least -55% GHG by 2030, with a consistent reassessment of energy efficiency and renewable energy targets.
